Mediation
Many family law mediators practice mediation exclusively. At Frigo Joe, we are practicing attorneys who also offer mediation services, which allows us to bring our hands on experience and insight from our litigation practice to our role as a mediator. We can help parties better understand the strengths and weaknesses of their respective cases.
When acting as a lawyer, we represent a single client and focus all of our attention toward advocating for that client by strategizing and arguing that client’s best case. When acting as a mediator, we act as a neutral third party to assist both parties (and their attorneys) in reaching a resolution.
At Frigo Joe Law, we have skilled mediators who are committed to helping parties settle their disputes without going to court. Mediation allows parties to be in control of the outcome of their case; it is never ideal to leave your financial future or your parenting rights in the hands of a judge who doesn’t know you or your children. At Frigo Joe Law, we are committed in our role as mediators to helping parties achieve a compromised resolution to their case without the court’s involvement, while also decreasing the conflict in your family.
